Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The electric power generated at power plants to surrounding consumers are the most important in- frastructure for a comfortable lives. In the power grid, one of the basic elements necessary to ensure the stable operation is its frequency. If the power grid becomes an asynchronous state, its operation becomes unstable and this leads to the cascading failure in the worst case. Therefore, investigations of what kinds of structure of the power grid is stable for preventing cascading failure are necessary to build high synchronizability power grid. In this study, we investigate the high synchronizability power grid structures in combination of centralized power plants and decentralized power plants into power grids using reconnecting the transmission lines of power grid. In addition, we ivestigate whether characteristic measures in complex network theory is related to the placement of centralized power plants and decentralized power plants in the optimum structure of the power grid. Numerical experiments show that the optimized power grid has a lot of edges connecting only generators to consumers. We also clarify that the power grid has wider synchronous areas when large power plants are placed at the central positions of the power grid and small power plants are placed at the outside positions of the power grid.
