A Study on an Information Presentation Method with an Encoded Tactile Paving for a Low Vision Person

Abstract(in English) We propose an information presentation method with a tactile paving. The tactile paving is painted with a code pattern in this method, and the pattern corresponds to surrounding information for guidance. Low vision person takes a coded tactile paving picture, and the surrounding information is provided. Three low vision research participants evaluated our method in an experiment. In the four-step questionnaire a positive result that an average score is 3.3 was obtained.
