Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Retrieval of fuel debris from the containment vessel has become an important issue, with regard to the decommissioning of the TEPCO HD Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, and the development of investigation technology for the vessel are needed. Since the inside of the containment vessel is a high radiation environment, in this study, we focused on an ultrasonic measurement method that is high durability for radiation environment and applicable even in an opaque liquid environment. The results of fundamental experiments are reported for developing a metal element analysis system in aqueous solution using sonoluminescence.
