Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With the advancement of automatic driving, the amount of data handled in vehicles is rapidly increasing. In particular, high-speed and high-reliability are required for sensor signals and the inter-domain backbone, and a communication protocol called in-vehicle Ethernet is considered promising, and related technology development and international standardization are activated. In-vehicle Ethernet is a protocol that has greatly enhanced real-time performance and redundancy, and realizes low-cost and high-reliability networks using the latest digital signal processing technology on a general-purpose physical layer. As a communication medium, unshielded copper wire, shielded copper wire, and optical fiber are considered, and up to now, high-speed communication standards of 50 Gb / s have been discussed at the IEEE 802.3 committee. In addition to introducing these latest technologies and trends in standards, the lecture will introduce the in-vehicle optical communication system simulator that we have constructed.
