Abstract(in English) | In recent years, network traffic of inter and intra data centers is projected to increase at a rate of about 1.3 times annually. For higher capacity and economical short-reach transmission, the demands for tolerance of bandwidth limitation, chromatic dispersion and nonlinearity of devices are also increasing. We demonstrate 255-Gb/s PAM8 transmission with the bandwidth limitation of 20 GHz using MLSE in which Volterra filter emulates nonlinear channel response. |
