Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the fifth generation mobile communications system (5G), massive multiple input multiple output (MIMO) technique has been studied to increase the frequency efficiency. On the other hand, it is also essential to ensure the security of communication, and as one of its methods, a chaos MIMO (C-MIMO) has been proposed. In the uplink massive MIMO transmission, a Gaussian belief propagation (GaBP) algorithm, which is an iterative low-complexity scheme, is widely used for user signal detection to reduce the calculation complexity. However, it has been confirmed that the detection performance is significantly degraded when composing a massive chaos MIMO transmission with GaBP-based detection. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an adaptive initial value selection scheme of chaos that suppress the decrease of minimum squared Euclidean distance between adjacent codewords in massive C-MIMO. Numerical results show that the proposed scheme improves the error rate performance compared to the conventional massive C-MIMO scheme and BPSK transmission.
