Abstract(in English) | This paper describes a parmeter estimation method of real sinusoids from finite length waveform. Being based on the exact direct method proposed by us, the novelty of it is in the scale-invariant allocation of weight functions (finite Fourier bases) in time-frequency domain: scale-invariant, log-linear bandwidth/interval along the frequency axis. The estimated frequency and amplitude in each time-frequency unit are mapped into a continuous time-frequency space, and results in traces of multiple sinusoids involoved in the waveform. We formulate the theory, allocation schemes, and algorithms, and show experiments using real signals with rich time-frequency structures. We consider the contradictory relation between log-linear and linear frequency structures in auditory analysis. |
