Abstract(in English) | An accurate estimation of radio propagation considering the geographical conditions is needed for realizing reliable vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications. As one of the methods, a measurement-based spectrum database (MSD) attracts attention. In MSD, radio environment gathered by huge numbers of terminals is accumulated in the database and the gathered datasets are used to generate the radio environment map (REM). By using REM, path loss and shadowing can accurately be estimated in an arbitrary position. Until now, the effectiveness is clarified by experiments in V2V communications operated 700,MHz,band. However, in the conventional work, the number of measurement datasets is extremely few in some locations and the accuracy of the statistical data may be poor. In this paper, we performed measurement campaign of V2V communication operated 5.9,GHz,band and constructed a database. The measurement campaign is performed by using dedicated short range communication and the enough datasets can be obtained in each mesh. Additionally, we propose the packet delivery rate (PDR) calculation algorithm for wireless distributed environment and construct PDR maps in each transmitter position. The results show that the proposed database can accurately estimate the received signal power and PDR in line-of-sight and non-line-of-sight. |
