Abstract(in English) The analog radio over fiber (A-RoF) employing directly modulated VCSEL and multi-mode fibers is one of the technique of radio signal relay for radio insensitive area in particular for high SHF bands. In this work we designed simplified drive circuit for directly modulated VCSEL in the RF optical transmitter for 28 GHz band, and implemented it in a module. In addition, we evaluated transmission characteristics of it for 28GHz RF signal with 90 MHz bandwidth.
