Abstract(in English) | To provide video delivery services with comfortable quality, it is important to establish network design and control methods based on quality of experience (QoE). The most fundamental way to quantify QoE is the subjective quality assessment method by the subject, and the extraction of the QoE factors and their effects are clarified by analyzing mean opinion scores (MOS). MOS is a measure representing the averaged quality characteristics and is useful as a macro network design indicator for telecommunication services. On the other hand, with the progress of diversification of service and user's value, it is ideal that future telecommunication services can meet the needs of each user. This paper describes the effect on network bandwidth design and control considering quality of each user. Specifically, for the design and control of the distribution rate in video distribution services, we show the results of comparing the required network bandwidth when considering MOS and the quality of each user. In addition, we describe the effect of controlling network bandwidth considering quality of each user when bandwidth is insufficient due to network congestion. |
