Abstract(in English) Currently, Cisco forecasts that mobile traffic, especially video traffic, will be extremely increasing. Because quality of mobile networks is essentially ununiformed and heterogeneous, research based on mobile application-layer approach is mandatory in order to provide high-quality and high-reliable mobile applications. In this invited talk, we demonstrate our research activities based on mobile application layer-approach for QoS improvement of mobile networks.
