Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In recent years, the demand on high speed communication is more rising. Satellite laser communication is one of the infrastructures to realize it. However, in the free space optics (FSO) including satellite laser communications, a scintillation occurs when the light passes atmosphere, which results in a burst error. To prevent it, a strong error correction code is required. As one of those channel coding schemes, polar code has been proposed, and we applied polar codes in FSO and evaluated its performances. However, the experiments of polar code transmission in FSO has not been studied. Therefore, in this paper, we conducted the experiment of polar code transmission in a terrestrial FSO channel and analyzed the performance from the transmission results. |
