Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The risk of security incidents is increasing year by year, and it is becoming more important for individual users to take security measures. We consider the design of the effective message to promote the user's purchasing anti-virus software as a security measure that can be performed easily without knowledge of information security. The message is used in the scene that when the detection tool detects incidents, and sent by e-mail or chat. In order to consider the requirement how the message should be designed, we make messages about the four types of incidents sent from the six types of senders. The massage contains information about the incident occurred, specific damage expected to occur and security measurement. The influence of each factor on purchasing behavior is calculated by evaluations of massages by questionnaire investigation about cognition and emotions. And we consider the design of effective message from the difference of evaluation of each message, and conclude that "objective expression", "detailed information to understand the situation", and "the number of incidents that can be prevented by security software" are important in designing a message. |
