Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Preferential main works are often interrupted by boring ones and then we come back to the main works. To deal with both works, we keep the main works in mind, complete the interruption, and resume the main task. To reveal how brain functions contribute to keep and retrieve the main works, oscillatory components of primate motor LFPs were analyzed. We here show that the theta frequency band (< 6Hz) of LFPs in motor cortex of two monkeys reflects keeping of the main works during the interruption ones.
