Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Authors have proposed stepped multiple frequency radar modulation. It could achieve both a high range resolution and a long-range detection performance by a narrow band receiver compared with the transmission bandwidth. In this modulation, one of the important feature is that the frequencies that have narrow bandwidth are transmitted and switched in the time division in a sequence. In this article, the initial study of frequency multiplexing for coexisting multiple radars in the frequency band by reducing the frequency bandwidth or dividing into multiple frequency sets while maintaining the range resolution by adopting the sparse frequency and not equal frequency step width are conducted. As the optimizing method for the frequency steps, a searching method based on Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm and some modifications are described. The effectiveness of the method is verified by the computational simulations and the future tasks are also described.
