| Abstract(in English) | This study investigated the group creativity of musical ensemble performance comparing performances by human and agents, since creative musical ensemble performances have been reported to be fulfilled through successful interactions among members. We analyzed solo and ensemble performances by human performers and simulated performances by multi-agent system. The main findings were as follows: (1) timing profiles of solo performances differed from those of ensemble performance played by the performers who played in the solo performances, (2) the results of simulations provided similarities and differences with the performances by human, (3) those similarities and differences depended on the musical structure of the piece. |
