Error Rate Characteristics of Coded QAM-FBMC Systems

Abstract(in English) We propose a coded, quadrature amplitude modulated filter-bank multicarrier (QAM-FBMC) systems in which a code is applied in the frequency domain for improving the bit-error rate (BER) characteristic of QAM-FBMC system using two prototype filters. We define an objective function based on the average power of interference components in the QAM-FBMC system, and a code that minimizes the objective function under a constraint condition is generated to demonstrate the improvement of BER characteristics. We show an impact on the BER when the number of sequences included in the code generated by the proposed system are reduced.
