Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We investigate influence of the laser efficiency due to the pump-induced loss in a Ti:sapphire laser crystal. We experimentally reveal the increase of the pump-induced loss due to difference of pump wavelength in Ti:sapphire laser. As a factor of the loss increase, we assumed the loss increases in proportion to pump intensity, and the loss was theoretically analyzed. By optimizing pump beam, laser beam and output coupling, we show that blue-diode-pumped Ti:sapphire laser can prevent the decrease of the laser efficiency.
