Structure estimation of a neural network using Inter-spike-interval

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we apply the causal estimation method of Convergent Cross Mapping to a mathematical model of neural networks to estimate their structures. Neurons were connected by gap junctions and the obtained membrane potential time series were converted to inter-spike-interval time series. We investigated performance of estimating neural network structures by applying CCM to the obtained inter-spike-interval time series. As a result, it is suggested that using inter-spike-interval time series may be effective for estimation of neural network structures.
