Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In future mobile networks, the use of wireless signals with a higher frequency will be required. Radio-over-fiber (RoF) is a practical technology to transmit wireless signals using optical fibers. Furthermore, superimposed method in electrical domein enables us to mitigate the interference of a digital signal and an analog signal. In this work, We experimentally evaluate the simultaneous transmission performances of the electrically-superimposed analog and digital signals over 10-m multimode fiber, plastic optical fiber (POF), and bend-insensitive POF (BI-POF) in terms of error-vector magnitude (EVM) and bit error rate (BER) measurements.
