Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Evolutions take place non-linearly. Therefore, if you look back the past from present, you cannot clarify which type of evolution took place, where, when and how. This is true in the intellectual evolution of modern humans. Digital linguistics identifies the laryngeal descent, which enabled us to vocalize syllables containing logical properties of phonemes and morae, as the first evolution in the physical layer of linguistic human communications. Character set and electronic data storage are the second and the third evolutions, respectively. Logical layers to be constructed in the brain adapt to the above physical layer evolutions. It is plausible that the grammatical demodulation was born as the first adaptation, the scientific concepts as the second and the forward error corrections and reconfiguration of consciousness as the third.
