[Invited Talk] Understanding User Dynamics in Online Social Network Using Oscillation Model

Abstract(in English) In recent years, information exchange using social media has been activated by the spread of mobile devices and the improvement of the Internet environment. The dynamics of information distribution and activity propagation are interesting subjects, especially for interactive communication that promotes people-to-people connections by social networking services such as Facebook and Twitter. In this paper, we introduce an oscillation model for describing the propagation of activities on the online network, and describe the generalized node centrality index that can reflect various network situations. Furthermore, we consider the dependence of the damped oscillation and the natural frequency for the damped oscillation model which represents the phenomenon that the user's interest in the information network decays with time.
