Abstract(in English) | With the widespread use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), it is expected to be used in various fields such as infrastructure inspection, home delivery service, and use for agriculture. A variety of research and development regarding wireless communication technologies are being promoted for the development of UAV utilization. On the other hand, mobile image transmission systems using UAV have been systematized with the 2.4 GHz band and 5.7 GHz band under the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. In this system, the transmission power is 1 W at maximum, which realizes high-quality transmission of images. With these movements, the national project “Research and Development of Communication Network Technology for Efficient Use of Frequency in Unmanned Aircraft Systems,” was carried out. The project was supported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications in the period from FY2013 to FY2016. As a member of the project, our research group has been engaged in research and development, especially on resource allocation control technology for improving frequency utilization efficiency. In this talk, I will introduce the research activities on unmanned aircraft systems that our research group has been working on, focusing on the results of the project. |
