Dynamic Network Slicing for Constructing Communication Network with High Fault Resistance

Abstract(in English) Since 2020, several kinds of services with the 5G, such as video streaming with VR(Virtual Reality) and auto driving system will be started. As one of the technologies for providing those services effectively, the network slicing has recently been expected. On the other hand, the number of natural disaster increases in recent years, and communication network is downed frequently due to the natural disasters. Therefore, it is important to consider how network slice with high resistance is constructed. In this paper, we propose dynamic topology design for constructing network slices with high fault resistance. The proposed method formulates the topology design as two optimization problems and solves the proposed method with simulation. From some numerical examples, we show that the proposed method can construct a lot of network slices with high fault resistance by utilizing network resources effectively.
