Abstract(in English) | It is important to understand the operation mechanism of devices and phenomena which influence device performance. Based on the information and knowledge, the devices are improved and novel devices are proposed. I have investigated the formation mechanism of materials and the operation mechanism of devices using infrared spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy and I have developed the local anodization method of hybrid process between top-down and bottom-up ones to fabricate electronic devices such as single electron transistors micro gas sensors. I describe my experience in development of characterization methods and novel devices. |
