Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | How can we evaluate the quality of others’ social interaction? Given the inconsistency of subjective evaluations between first-persons, it is difficult to interpret goodness of the interaction based only on their evaluations. Therefore, we investigated the effectivity of objective measurements such as third-party evaluation and physiological index for evaluating interaction. In this study, participants played a collaborative game in pair, while their physiological arousals during game were recorded. After the game session, the game players and observers completed questionnaires for evaluating the interaction. The evaluations of the observers were mostly consistent among them, but did not predict the first-person subjective evaluation. Physiological synchrony between game players was not related to the average score of their first-person evaluations, but predicted the closeness of their evaluations. These results suggest that the objective indexes capture another aspects of social interaction from subjective evaluation. |
