Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Head and gaze directions are important factors on facial impression formation. Previous researches showed contradictory results and the interaction of these two non-verbal factors has not been revealed enough especially in video-mediated communication. In that situation, these two factors are confirmed differently from normal communication mainly because of the camera position. In this research, we tested the effect and the interaction on these two factors. The results show that head and gaze directions interactively modulated facial impression.
