Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Communication behavior reflects characteristics of culture, society, personal attributes and interpersonal relationships. Reviewing the channels and media being used will make it possible to think about the future society will face. Today, people are heading from a ubiquitous society to the ambient information society, and even to a super smart tech society. Many technological innovations make the environment and human beings more and more interactive, and as a result, the manner of communication based on "person-to-person" is changing. It is necessary to examine the function and form of communication. Furthermore, it is necessary to think about communication from a hierarchical viewpoint of individuals, relationships, and groups by developing new indicators of communication behaviors. In the future aiming at fusion of the virtual space and the real space, it is necessary to take full advantage of individuals and constantly think about a fulfilling society.
