Abstract(in English) | When collecting vital information from a sensor node put to an exerciser by wireless, the position of the sensor node should be not only hamperless for the exerciser but also undeleterious for the wireless transmission. In this paper, we show the wireless transmission performance when putting a sensor node to the waist or forearm of a man. Putting a wireless sensor node operating in the 920MHz band to a tissue-equivalent human phantom, we experimentally measure the antenna radiation patterns. We show the antenna gain as the function of horizontal angle when putting it to the waist whereas the function of horizontal angle and arm wring angle when putting it to the forearm. Furthermore, inputting the measured values to the network simulator which we have so far developed, we evaluate the data collection rate from twenty two footballers during a game. |
