Population Game Model of Customers with Erroneous Perceptions of Values on Reviews

Abstract(in English) In recent years, the online shopping has become common. On the review site, consumers can estimate values of the contributors from review comments, and can refer to the evaluations of consumers with similar sense of values. However, the information obtained from the review is limited and the consumers may misunderstand which reviews are submitted on the basis of a similar sense of values. For that reason, they sometimes purchase products referring to evaluations of the contributors with different values. In this report, we model such a consumer's decision including erroneous perceptions of contributors' values as a revision protocol in population games, and derive the mean dynamics from the proposed revision protocol. We also analyze the influence of erroneous perceptions in the proposed model in detail in the 2 population 2 strategy case.
