| Abstract(in English) | Recently, information leak due to loosing PC and malwares, etc., is becoming a social problem. VDI system can be one of solutions, where user brings thin client and accesses virtual desktop in a cloud system through networks. On the other hand, it is becoming popular to introduce cloud services such as Software as a Service (SaaS) to outsource their management burden of servers inside their intranet. In such circumstances where a VDI system and other cloud applications are separately located, if a VDI service is offered in one location such as on-premises cloud or a public cloud, the user experience of VDI may degrade. This paper proposes a method that improves response of VDI system and SaaS applications in public clouds by dynamically deploying VDI proxy in edge clouds depending on network condition, quality and traffic load. Moreover, we evaluated the proposed method using an experiment system, which includes emulated wireless access network and core network connecting cloud systems. As a result, we find out the proposed method can be usable. |
