Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Recently, mobile communication systems for the fifth generation (5G) in higher frequency bands have been extensively studied. A Massive-MIMO system is one of the promising technologies to improve spectral efficiency. Authors have been engaged on the research subject: “Wideband Massive MIMO and beam control technologies for high SHF bands” for "The research and development project for realization of the fifth-generation mobile communications system -High Data Rate and Low-Power-Consumption Radio Access Technologies with Ultra Higher-Frequency-Band and Wider-Bandwidth Massive MIMO" commissioned by The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Japan. This report describe the massive antenna and the transmission system development, the result of the outdoor/indoor trial about SU-MIMO and MU-MIMO transmission, and the development of radio propagation analysis system. |
