Abstract(in English) | The wireless smart utility network (Wi-SUN) connecting many sensors or meters have been introduced in various fields. To operate many terminals in a large network, a hierarchical mesh networking protocol in layer 2 routing (L2R) was standardized in IEEE 802.15.10 that defines a variety of routing metric calculation schemes for constructing a network. Since it is necessary to consider the characteristics of the calculation schemes and select an appropriate scheme according to the situation where the network is constructed, comparative evaluation of the characteristics is required. In this report, we compare the end-to-end (E2E) successful ratio when each calculation scheme is applied by computer simulations, and show that the received signal weakness (RSW) outperforms other schemes in terms of E2E successful ratio. |
