Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, an inaudible audio information hiding based on cochlear delay (CD) characteristics is developed by using linear time-variant (LTV) system. CD is one of characteristics in human cochlear which can be employed for imperceptibly hiding information in audio file. However, for achieving blind detectable aspect, framing and phase shift keying (PSK) techniques were employed in previous approach. This implies significant distortion in the modified signal. In this research, we attempted to solve this inaudibility issue by utilizing LTV CD filter and selecting the prospective inaudible segments in the embedding scheme. In the detection scheme, we employed the instantaneous chirp-z transformation (CZT) to estimate the zero positions of CD filter. For evaluating our proposed method, we carried out the objective evaluation with regards to the imperceptibility (PEAQ and LSD) and robustness aspects. The experimental result shows that the proposed method can achieve good inaudibility aspect. In addition, it is robust against white Gaussian noise addition and MP3 compression.
