Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In a wireless sensor network, since each intermediate wireless sensor node broadcasts the data messages in its wireless signal transmission range, all the wireless nodes including eavesdropper wireless nodes overhear them. In order to prevent this overhearing by eaves dropper wireless nodes, this paper proposes a novel method that neighbor wireless sensor nodes whose wireless transmission ranges overlap that of the intermediate wireless sensor node and do not contain its next-hop wireless sensor node concurrently transmit their data messages without additional battery power consumption. In order for more neighbor wireless sensor nodes to transmit their data messages concurrently to make difficult for eaves dropper wireless nodes to overhear data messages, we introduce TDMA for synchronous data message transmissions and design a greedy transmission slot assignment algorithm which achieves locally higher ratio of overlapped transmission ranges of neighbor wireless sensor nodes. The results of simulation experiments show that the proposed method achieves higher ratio of transmission ranges where overhearing by eaves dropper wireless nodes is prevented than a conventional slot assignment algorithm.
