Abstract(in English) | We are researching high-speed Internet environment for Wi-Fi networks in high-speed trains with infrared rays. Handover in high-speed train causes periodic burst packet loss. So we investigated the impact of burst packet loss on streaming application in 2014. Since then, various environments changed. Traffic increased and devices diversified. New protocols such as HTTP2 and QUIC emerged. As a result, high QoE of streaming application is required in high-speed train. In this paper, we constructed a network simulating the real environment and simulated the handover in the high-speed train. We measured four streaming applications as target applications. We changed the parameters of periodical burst packet loss for each platform and verified the vulnerability. As a result, tolerance to periodic burst packet loss of each streaming application was found. |
