Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Asynchronous group communications are useful for delivering messages among members who perform mission critical tasks, such as disaster management. To achieve asynchronous group communications, several publish/subscribe systems for named data networking (NDN) are proposed. They are, however, vulnerable to denial of service (DoS) attacks, wherein adversaries send unnecessary packets to many members, since they rely on push-based multicasting. This paper designs a publish/subscribe protocol which is based on pull-based message delivery derived from NDN. With the proposed protocol, messages are pulled by receivers instead of pushing messages to receivers. This paper also extends the protocol so that it works on top of ad-hoc networks, assuming that it will be used on top of disrupted networks during disasters.
