Abstract(in English) | This paper proposes a time-domain symbol spreading (TSS) to expand the operational region of the blind adaptive array interference suppression. Independent component analysis (ICA) and constant modulus algorithm (CMA) are expected as the promising approaches to suppress unknown interference which extensively causes due to the small cell densification and spectrum sharing between plurality of wireless communication systems. These blind algorithms basically requires input signal-to-interference power ratio (SIR) to be larger than 0 dB in order to appropriately suppress interference. The proposed scheme applies TSS to the transmission signal for the desired user and then de-spreads at the receiver side. It results in spreading the interference signal and can bring beneficial effects that is to reduce the kurtosis as well as to collapse the constant modulus properties. Such intentional modification to the interference signals can improve the capture performance of the desired signal and realizes effective interference suppression even when SIR < 0 dB. Computer simulation presents its fundamental effectiveness. |
