| Abstract(in English) | The aim of this study is to identify the e?ect of cognitive and physical multitask exercise. Elderly subjects were instructed to perform robot-assisted exercise, being divided into the multitask group (MT group) and the single task group (ST group). Each group subjects perform a simultaneous cognitive and physical exercise(MT), or separated exercises (ST), respectively. The exercises continued for four weeks. The pre, post, and three-month follow-up tests were also performed to evaluate the cognitive and physical e?ect of the exercises. Improved cognitive performances were found on response speed and short-term memory of the cognitive performance measurement on MT group against ST group. Moreover, grip strength measurement and 2-step test showed a higher improvement e?ect on the MT group in the physical performance measurement. They showed the possibility of improvement on walking ability as a side e?ect of the MT exercise. |
