Abstract(in English) | Recently, the number of installed IoT is greatly increasing and it may reach up to 40 billion in 2020. IoT uses the Internet for sensor data collection. The IPv4 global address is already exhausted, and IPv6 address is indispensable for developing IoT systems. However, it is mandatory to accept IPv4-only users who will remain for a long time, such as Tokyo City University, and IPv6-only users who will appear in the future. As IPv4 / IPv6 coexistence technologies, NAT 64 is developed, but NAT 64 has the limitation concerning the number of ports. In this paper, we propose two new IPv6 / IPv4 flow control methods for UDP packet of IoT using OpenFlow technology. One is IoT UDP packets merging method within IPv6 networks. The other is bypass method passing through the detour route with IPv6 routing header. The good characteristics of both methods is explored. |
