[Invited Talk] Towards Category-Theory-Inspired Mathematical Modelling

Abstract(in English) Category theory is a mathematical language making it possible to construct theories focusing on processes between objects rather than objects themselves. It has been mainly used to transfer ideas in one field of mathematics to another field. This lecture deals with applications of category theory to mathematical modelling. In particular, applied category theory, which is a rapidly developing field, and the author's three studies on applications of category theory to mathematical modelling of networks (open network modelling, adaptive network modelling, and evolving network modelling) will be introduced with a review of the basic ideas of category theory.
