Abstract(in English) | A method for improving security of IoT networks by hiding secret message against the risk of eavesdropping over wireless communication channels is studied. We propose a system that prevents a warden (eavesdropper) from detecting transmission ofsecret information by superposing a secret OFDM signal into a DFT-Precoded OFDM signal that carries other information data. Specifically, based on a steganography principle, we propose a secure communication system by assigning DFT-Precoded OFDM signal to the cover signal and OFDM signal to the embedded signal. We assume that the channel between the legitimate sender and the warden is modeled as additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN), and the warden has perfect knowledge ofthe embedding method as well as channel statistics. We evaluate the attack resistance of the proposed system in terms of bit error rate (BER) of the legitimate receiver and the detection success probability of the wardenfor a given cover signal to embedded signal power ratio~(CER). |
