Abstract(in English) | In recent, wireless mesh networks (WMN) are paid much attention since they can be network infrastructure to cover a wide area at low cost as Wi-Fi devices are widely deployed. As an application, we are considering to distribute geographical information for ITS, called dynamic map (or local dynamic map), through WMNs as well as to realize WMNs by using wireless nodes with multiple wireless-interfaces of infrastructure mode for the practical use of WMNs. For this sake, we have proposed a design method of optimal configurations for AP/STA mode, channel, AP/STA association, and data flow path so far. In this paper, we give additional constraints to apply the design method for vehicle-to-infrastructure and infrastructure-to-infrastructure communications. In addition, we verify the effectiveness of optimal channel assignment through simulation experiments. Simulation results show that throughput is increased thanks to multi-channel compared with single-channel. |
