Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we develop and evaluate the virtual reality (VR) environment that learners feel working on exercises with others in an e-learning system. The system is a VR system using Head Mounted Display, and a virtual learner (3D model avatar) exists in the virtual environment to solve the feeling of learner's loneliness in e-learning. The avatar have motion like learners working on the exercise problem in VR. We expect that the avatar be able to solve the loneliness in learning using e-learning system. As a result of evaluation experiments, the VR system suggest that the avatar can give learners feeling of studying with the others in e-learning.
