[Invited Talk] Research and development on network control for large urban disasters

Abstract(in English) Research and development of technology for maintaining an information network, which is an important lifeline in the event of a natural disaster such as an earthquake, is indispensable in a large city like the metropolitan area. Characteristics of urban disasters include the overburdened buildings and damages in the vicinity of the intellectual underground shopping area, the di?culty of evacuation of victims becoming a large crowd due to population density, and so on.We are researching and developing disaster information management technology using delay tolerant network, sensor network technology, edge computing as an information network assuming disasters in big cities. In this talk, we will summarize the requirements of information network technology at the time of disaster and introduce our past e?orts, and describe remaining future issues.
