| Abstract(in English) | Color images are usually viewed by users including not only people with normal color vision but also those with color-weak vision. These images have a wide variety of contents and various indication purposes such as promotion or warning etc. Therefore，color compensation needs to provide an image with a maximal effect fitting to the indication purpose while avoiding artificial or unnatural color. However, existing compensation methods modified colors in an image always the same way even if they are belong to different parts and objects in the image. In this paper, we propose an approach for color compensation adapted to the contents and indication purpose of the color images. We also showed a partial compensation algorithm as an extension of the color-weak compensation methods based on Brittel color blind model in LMS space. Evalutation on subjective impressions comparing between original and compensated images confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed algorigthm. |
