Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) There is a problem that it is necessary to provide appreciation support that enables to appreciate by only museum visitors. In this research, we suggest the appreciation support method using handheld spot lighting in order to be able to provide museum visitors with diverse views on paintings exhibited at museums. We thought that we analyze some appreciation behavior in handheld spot lighting. So, we made the simulated handheld spot lighting system that can reproduce the spot pattern of the handheld spot light illumination engineeringly. In this system, we simulated the illumination pattern of candle type illumination and flashlight type illumination. And we investigated some relationship with spot pattern by recording and analyzing some appreciation behavior of painting. In this way, we think that a candle lighting will be an appreciation support when there is a part to want to appreciate in paintings.
