Abstract(in English) | In tile-based VR video distribution service with a head-mounted display, users perceive the quality degradation due to watching the low image quality region if they change their direction. Therefore, for appropriate distribution design, it is important to develop an objective quality evaluation model that can evaluate the degradation in addition to the quality degradation affected by coding. In this paper, we propose the objective quality evaluation model that takes quantization parameters of both high and low quality tiles. We report the quality-estimation accuracy for our proposed model. |
