Abstract(in English) | Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is an image diagnostic device capable of displaying a short-axis cross-sectional image of a coronary artery in real time, and in recent years it has been actively used for diagnosis in the medical field. Heart disease is the second leading cause of death in Japan, and angina pectoris and myocardial infarction are listed as a representative, arteriosclerosis is a major cause. In this study, we aim to automatically detect lipid-lich plaque in blood vessels, which causes arteriosclerosis, which is a pathological condition of the blood vessels, from the circulatory OCT image taken. By doing this, it can contribute to the early detection and early treatment of angina pectoris and myocardial infarction caused by progress of arteriosclerosis. |
