Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To utilize data for business improvement, it is necessary to analyze the value of data by a domain expert who is familiar with the business. However most domain experts do not have sufficient programming experience. Therefore flow-based programming (FBP) tools where non engineers can easily develop applications has attracted attention in recent years. However, on existing FBP tools, it is difficult to design a highly reliable application against server failure. In this study, we propose a fault-tolerant FBP engine using distributed non-blocking processing. We show that the proposed FBP engine will take over the processing that was being executed on the server when the server was stopped while the IoT application was running.
